Level 8: The crowded landing
Playable nowA larger nest and a Guard that leaves a mouse behind make clearing the landing harder.
You can do this now.
The deck
Thirty cards, two copies of each of fifteen cards, plus Orla outside the draw pile.
All ordinary cards are Standard, and Orla is Rare. All of them are nonexclusive cards, and their costs are in mana.
Minions have no type.
Stowaway puts a Plinth Mouse on the board at the start of the match. It is not drawn and does not take a place in the deck.
The wall
The gallery stands behind a level 3 Town Wall: 1 armour, 0 attack. It never attacks, it hits back when you attack it, and until it falls it is the only thing your attacks can hit. Flying minions go past it.
It works exactly like a Town Wall at a city.
Facing this deck
Allow room in your plan for the mice left by Death abilities. Spend damage carefully: removing the first body may still leave a blocker.
A loss damages your destroyed cards and your deck master. Check their condition before sailing again.
What it drops
1900 wood, 475 each of stone, glass, coffee and mana, and 760 gold, if you win.
The deck master
Orla, Keeper of the Trolley
Orla hauls surviving treasures out of rooms that are falling apart, including treasures that object to being hauled. She carries her trolley’s missing wheel around her neck and refuses to abandon anything useful. A grand title will not get you out of lifting, and being an actual portrait is only a temporary excuse.

The wardrobe came with a tenant and no forwarding address.
Minion, Beast⚔ 2♥ 4Wardrobe NestRareThe mouse has moved from a packing crate into the bottom drawer of a salvaged wardrobe. - Stairwell ChampionStandard
The understudy has found a practical use for her ceremonial sword: keeping the stairs clear while the collection passes. Repeated trips have made her quick on the landings and impatient with challengers. She still calls each flight a trial, especially when carrying furniture.

- Packing-Foam TeapotStandard
A walking teapot wraps the crockery in packing foam and stands over it while the crew loads. Her padded bulk absorbs the knocks that would shatter smaller cups. Anyone trying to hurry her discovers that the spout still reaches through the wrapping.

- Landing MarshalEpic
The marshal holds the stair landing while the smallest evacuees squeeze past her shield. A mouse shelters in the rolled carpet at her feet. Knocking the marshal aside exposes the mouse, who has mistaken the entire rescue operation for an attack on her bedding.

- Rose-Window MothStandard
A moth with stained-glass wings has left the window she occupied and taken to the air above the crew. Her departure leaves a large opening and several unanswered questions for whoever maintained the building. She seems perfectly content to fly away while everyone else worries about the weather getting in.

- Banister SurferStandard
The mermaid has hauled her crate out of the flood and onto a polished banister. She steers by leaning and stops by finding somebody solid. The crew has begun sending fragile parcels by a different staircase.

Now she can bite the people in the expensive seats.
Minion, Beast⚔ 3♥ 3Chandelier GooseStandardThe goose has discovered that the chandelier puts the entire hall within swooping distance. She defends the dangling fixture against climbers and moving crews alike. Recovering it now requires somebody to hold a ladder beneath an angry goose, and volunteers have become scarce.

Minion⚔ 5♥ 5Balcony-Bearing TitanStandardA titan carries a rescued balcony with its occupants still aboard, having failed to persuade them to leave their favourite seats. - Controlled DemolitionStandard
The salvage crew clears a path for its own people and brings down a failing partition onto those blocking the way. The falling wall settles the immediate dispute about access. Everyone who insisted the crew lacked authority to remove it now has an excellent view of the foundations.

- Crate-Maze MinotaurStandard
The minotaur has rebuilt her maze from loaded crates and can move the walls herself. The crew keeps finding the route changed between trips. She offers directions freely, although anyone following them must pass the counter where she has unpacked the commemorative spoons.

- Crate-Bracing GiantessStandard
The giantess braces the crew with reinforced timber cut from shipping crates. Her fittings keep smaller helpers steady beneath awkward loads. She insists that everyone try walking before she removes the clamps, having already carried one satisfied customer out still attached to the workbench.

There is a spare index, and she is sitting on that too.
Minion, Dragon⚔ 4♥ 4Extra-Catalogue DragonStandardThe dragon has copied her catalogue and hidden the duplicate beneath another pile of souvenirs. Driving her from the shelves lets the crew recover the list and continue packing. She is offended by the suggestion that a catalogue becomes more useful when somebody else can read it.

- Floodgate GargoyleStandard
The gargoyle has wedged herself across a flooded doorway to hold the crossing for the crew. Water and impatient evacuees pile up behind her. She considers both excellent evidence that the doorway needed somebody competent in it.

- Rafter-Sweeping WitchStandard
The witch has lashed two broom handles together to clear the exposed rafters. The extra reach lets her dislodge nesting creatures without climbing onto the damaged roof. Her colleagues have learned to duck whenever she turns to answer a question.

- Dropped LintelStandard
A heavy lintel slips from its supports and lands across the passage. The crew drags the next load around the wreckage while dust settles into every open crate. Anyone who stayed beneath it to offer lifting advice has stopped contributing.

Summoned outside the draw pile
Stowaway summons an extra Plinth Mouse at match start. No copies of it are drawn at this level: Wardrobe Nest and Landing Marshal put it on the board.
A mouse lives beneath a salvaged plinth and considers its hollow base her home. She defends it with small, determined bites whenever somebody reaches underneath. Moving the plinth is perfectly acceptable, provided nobody expects her to help or contribute to the rent.
