What it does
While you have a minion with Guard, your opponent has to attack it before they can attack your other minions. Use it to protect the cards you care about.
It does not stop everything. Abilities that pick a target ignore it, and a flying attacker goes straight past a Guard on the ground unless that Guard also has Reach.
