Rarity and exclusives
Playable nowThe five rarities, and the one you buy from the artist.
You can do this now.
The five rarities
- Standard, Rare and Epic: two copies allowed in a deck.
- Legendary: one copy in a deck.
- Unique: one copy in a deck, and only one exists in the world.
Rarer cards turn up less often in packs and do stranger things. They are not stronger, and no card is ever impossible to get.
Telling them apart
A card's background is tinted with its rarity: grey for Standard, blue for Rare, purple for Epic, orange for Legendary, pale blue for Unique. The rarity is also written under the artwork.
Exclusives
Designed, not builtIf you buy an artwork as an exclusive from the artist on DeviantArt, you get your own edition of that card, slightly stronger than the normal one, and nobody else can print the card any more.
- The money goes to the artist, not to this game.
- What you get is fixed and published. Nothing here is a gamble you pay for.
- A deck can hold four exclusives at most.
- You cannot sell one for gold. It only changes hands by another sale on DeviantArt.
The unverified part
Still being decidedThis depends on the game being able to find out who holds an exclusive on DeviantArt, which has not been proven yet.
