Rarity and exclusives

• Standard, Rare and Epic: two copies allowed in a deck.
• Legendary: one copy in a deck.
• Unique: one copy in a deck, and only one exists in the world.

Rarer cards turn up less often in packs and do stranger things. They are not stronger, and no card is ever impossible to get.

A card's background is tinted with its rarity: grey for Standard, blue for Rare, purple for Epic, orange for Legendary, pale blue for Unique. The rarity is also written under the artwork.

Some artists sell their art as an exclusive on DeviantArt. Click a card's artwork to see whether its art is for sale, or who owns it. The game checks DeviantArt about once a day, so after buying or listing one, press the refresh button in the Exclusive on DeviantArt box.

If you buy it, connect your DeviantArt account, open the card's details and press Make this card your exclusive. You get the only copy of your own edition of the card, and nobody can print the card any more.

If somebody owns it but has not made it their exclusive yet, press Make an offer on DeviantArt and message them there. If they sell it to you, the exclusive edition can be yours.

• The money goes to the artist, not to this game.
• Your edition is one mana stronger: a minion or Equipment gets +1 attack and +1 life, a deck master +2 armour, and any other card costs 1 less.
• Copies other players already hold stay theirs, unchanged.
• You cannot sell it for gold, and you cannot recycle it.
• Everyone can see it on the Cards page and on your profile, and nobody else can get it from a pack.

• When an exclusive is resold on DeviantArt, the new owner takes the edition over in the game.
• A deck can hold four exclusives at most.
• A Location, Action or Reaction that already costs 1 mana gets its extra strength from a curator, so it cannot be claimed yet.
