Art Studio

Your first pack is free after you complete your first Art Studio, and you can complete its timer immediately for free.

After that, print a pack of 5 cards for 250 gold and 200 mana. One card is guaranteed Rare or better.

The gold comes from your whole empire and the mana from this city, and both are taken when the print starts. The Studio says how much you are short and does not offer the print until you have it.

The other four cards roll Standard at 77%, Rare at 15%, Epic at 6% and Legendary at 2%. Unique cards do not come from packs.

A level 1 Studio takes 1 hour to print a pack. Each level adds 5% throughput, and only one pack can be printing in this city at a time.

Opening puts all five cards in your collection immediately. The reveal is a celebration, so leaving the page during it costs you nothing.

You cannot print a pack unless your collection has room for 5 more cards. A pack you have printed and not opened counts as 5 cards against that room. Raise a Curator's Office or clear cards out of your collection to make room.

From level 3 you can give a pack one focus. Matching cards become more likely within the rarity each card rolls. A focus never changes the rarity odds and never guarantees a card.

• Level 15: named card, once you have researched Commissioning

A matching card is 2 times as likely at level 3, and 0.5 more for each level after, up to 10 times, or 3 times for a named card. The Studio shows how many cards match and, for a named card, your chance of getting it. A focused pack costs the same.

Art Studio costs 200 wood and takes 6 minutes 40 seconds to build.

You need a Curator's Office at level 1, and a Town Hall at level 3.

Every level after that costs about 35% more and takes about 40% longer than the one before, and stone is part of the price from level 5.
