Accounts, names and passwords

Sign up with Google, or with an email address and a password of at least 12 characters. Either way you choose a display name, which is required and is how everyone else will know you.

Confirming your address founds your first city. Open the link in the browser you signed up in and you are signed in and taken there; on another device, sign in after confirming. If no email arrives, open Submit art while signed in and send it again, or use password recovery.

Play one account. Sending resources, cards or anything else between accounts you control gets every account involved suspended or banned without warning. Staff review trading between accounts.

• When Google sign-in is available, choose your public display name to create an account. Google confirms your email, and your first city is founded without a verification email.
• Your Google name and picture do not become your display name or avatar.
• Already have an account? Sign in with its existing method, then connect Google from Settings using your current password.
• Use password recovery to set a password if you do not have one. You must keep at least one sign-in method.
• The game counts page views as daily totals and uses Google Analytics to understand traffic. The Privacy page says what each one records.

• Signing in takes you back to the page that asked you to sign in.
• If too many account attempts are made, wait before trying again.
• Suspended and closed accounts cannot sign in. Their existing sessions end.

• Your display name is public, and no two players can have the same one.
• You can change it once every 30 days.
• Your DeviantArt username is separate and does not change it.
• A name and Town Hall drawn slightly gray belong to a player with no activity in more than 7 days. Signing in and playing clears it.

• An account nobody signs into for 90 days is deactivated, and its cities leave the map.
• You are warned by email at least 14 days first. Signing in once cancels it.
• If you unsubscribed from the warning, it happens without one.
• You keep your name, your cards, your decks, your gold, your ships and your history.
• Sign in again at any time and you start over with a new capital.

• Ask for a reset link from the sign-in page. It lasts one hour.
• Resetting signs you out everywhere, which is what you want if somebody else has your password.
• If you have not confirmed your address, recovery confirms it and founds your first city. Any waiting DeviantArt connection is cleared; connect again from Settings.
